CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS

The Criminal Investigation Bureau is currently supervised by Deputy Chief Tom Williams, and is staffed by four investigators, and an Evidence Technician.  We do follow-up investigations on major crimes such as:

• Serious Assaults
• Theft Crimes
• Sex Crimes
• Child Abuse Crimes
• Burglaries
• Forgery
• Drug Crimes
• Homicides

If you have any questions or additional information about a case, please call the officer or investigator handling your case.  If you do not know whether your case has been assigned to an investigator, please call Tom Williams at 457-6302.  If there are no suspects or leads to follow-up, your case was most likely not assigned.

If you have property or evidence that you want returned, call Evidence Technician Angie Evans, at 457-6290, to set up an appointment.  There is a process in which evidence is returned and we can serve you more efficiently with prior notice.
